Dear friends and family,
As you may know, the H1N1 flu, which originated in Mexico, has caused a potential global pandemic. We have been closely monitoring the news and trying to decide whether or not to cancel the wedding. Our main concern is for you, our loved ones. We don’t want anyone to feel obligated to travel to Mexico on our account. Rob and I will be going to Mexico and celebrating, but we want to stress again that we don’t want anyone to feel obligated to join us. Many of our family members will not be able to. We know that you love us and want to support us, but if you or your immediate family have health issues or concerns, we urge you not to attend. Perhaps this is an overly cautious approach, but we love you and don’t want to put anyone in harm’s way. If you are still considering going, we’ve found the news sources listed below helpful in forming our decision.

We love you all,

Friends and family, we’re getting hitched! Finally! And in Mexico! We hope that you will grace us with your support and love as we set out on our adventure together, and that you will find Tulum as joyful and inspiring as we have. Your presence at our wedding and your friendship over the years means more to us than we can put into words.

We’ve set up this site to help you to plan your trip to Tulum. It includes the schedule of events, suggested hotels, transportation and other information that we hope you will find useful (from the logistical to the silly), and we’ll be adding more to it shortly.

If you have questions about anything, email us at nxrhwedding@gmail.com

p.s. We are supporters of equality. We are not convinced the State should be in the business of marrying anyone; but if it is, it should, at the very least, allow any persons who so desire to marry regardless of their race, nationality, gender, sexual preference, financial status, religion, height, weight, hair color, taste in clothes, eating habits, dance skills.
